mbo architects were commissioned by the University of York to assist at very early brief development stage to carry out a feasibility design and advise upon ‘buildability’ and procurement options to secure a funding bid.

Once obtained, a full design service including construction, specification and contract administration duties were provided to enable this significant energy efficient three storey extension to be constructed and then linked through into an existing, occupied department on a heavily trafficked site.
