Higher Education

Mbo Architects have been a long term partner of the University of York for more that 30 years. Which in itself is testament to our excellent working relationship, often delivering complex projects on time and on budget.

Here you will see a number of new build projects like the faculty buildings for the psychology department. The Students Union Offices, a number of refurbishment works and intervention works, for the University of York.

Combining education and healthcare is also an area where mbo architects are able to provide expertise in cost effective planning and integration as in the case of university hospitals for instance.

Primary & Secondary

Primary and secondary education are two more areas where mbo architects have provided invaluable insights and improvements from school extensions, refurbishments and new schools, including general teaching areas and sports facilities.

Outside of what may be termed 'schools' we are privileged to have partners and senior staff who have a wealth of knowledge in the areas of professional sport and its associated academies. As well as specialist learning through interaction from planning exhibition halls to interactive tourism and environmental based learning.
