Isabella Court, Pickering - Day Care Unit

New Build & Extension.

The practice has worked with the Wilf Ward Family Trust since this inaugural development.  It comprises a purpose designed new build six bedded Respite and Day Care Unit set within landscaped grounds.

The building has been a centre for respite provision ever since, and has been adapted and updated ten times by the practice throughout the course of it’s life to ensure that the best and current care provision has been provided at all times.

Additions over a period of time are as follows: Woodside Bungalow (Adjacent to Isabella Court) 1991. Conversion and alteration of an existing adjacent bungalow to provide an additional 4-bed supported living facility. Additional Office Accommodation 1995

Conversion and alteration of the existing buildings empty roof space area to provide additional support and office accommodation to meet the Trust’s expanding needs.

Modernisation  & new complex needs and behaviour annexe. 2009

Conversion and alteration of two areas of the building providing both an independent en-suite and en-suited assisted bathing facilities together with the  conversion of one area of the property to  form a new entrance as well as a self contained fully accessible unit with assisted bathing and shower facilities.
