New Resource Centre
The Riccall Regen Community Resource Centre built in 2001 is a mixed use hub for community activities as well as a beacon for local regeneration.
Facilities comprise a large sports hall with changing facilities, a second smaller hall, café and crèche together with an IT Suite and meeting rooms with externally there are a sports field/tennis court, bowling green and biking course.
Sustainability was a fundamental aim of the scheme, which meant delivering a very highly insulated energy efficient building complemented by renewable solar collection.
